Education and Early Years: A Legacy of Justice
Chelsea Lewis, a fierce advocate for her clients, started her journey at Cypress Bay High School. A proud alumnus of the University of Florida, she graduated with dual degrees in Business Management and Psychology on a full academic scholarship. While at the University of Florida, Attorney Lewis received numerous awards and honors including the Outstanding Undergraduate Leadership Award, Association of Black Alumni Scholar, Anderson Scholar Distinction and Florida Academic Scholars Award. Lewis excelled at her academics, while balancing her passion for community engagement as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and as a Presidential Host with the Florida Cicerones.
Lewis graduated from Boston University School of Law with a concentration in transactional practice. Lewis fell in love with employment law, when she participated in an employment law clinic as a student advocate. Her passion for helping people and understanding of complex legal issues aligns perfectly with her role as an advocate for the community.
Legal Career: A Decade of Mastery
With over a decade of experience, Ms. Lewis started her legal career at a boutique employment law firm, where she learned the nuances of plaintiff-side employment and civil rights litigation, before joining the largest labor and employment litigation defense firm in the nation.
Her trial expertise is underscored by numerous jury trials which have resulted in seven-figure verdicts and earned her two spots in the top 50 employment law verdicts in the United States for 2022.
Ms. Lewis’ notable cases include Warner v. Sherman Nealy currently pending before the United States Supreme Court and The Estate of Maurica Manyan v. District of Columbia et al.
Community Engagement: Beyond the Courtroom
Beyond the courtroom, Lewis is deeply engaged in community service. As the Recording Secretary and Community Service Chair for the T.J. Reddick Bar Association and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, she weaves a tapestry of impact and influence.

Featured in Washington Post, Miami Herald, Inside Edition, and Shaderoom, Attorney Lewis stands as a prominent legal figure. Membership in the National Black Lawyers Association’s top 40 under 40 lawyers and Best of the Bar further solidify her standing.
